This small Ogham ring in rare and exclusive 18ct Yellow Scottish Gold features ancient Ogham script that reads ‘a blessing’. Scottish Gold comes from the Cononish Gold Mine in remote hills, near the village of Tyndrum in the west of Scotland. The luxurious metal is cast and beautifully finished in our Orkney workshop. The final piece is then tested by Edinburgh Assay Office before being hallmarked as authentic, pure Scottish Gold.

Sheila's Ogham collection was inspired by an inscription on the Buckquoy spindle-whorl stone, found at Buckquoy in Birsay, Orkney, in 1970, and dating from the Early Middle Ages. The inscription in Ogham is believed to read ‘a blessing on the soul’.
